New 3D body scanners and CT hand luggage scanners were installed at security at T3 domestic terminal in June.

One of the key benefits of the CT scanners is that passengers do not have to remove aerosols and laptops from their hand luggage. This is because the scanners provide a rotating, high resolution view deep inside cabin bag instead of the flat two-dimensional imaging of conventional scanners.
